$928 million cut from FEMA’s disaster relief money #sequester

The Democrats want to leave the people vulnerable before and after a terror attack or natural disaster.

Then, they will blame the Tea Party and the Republicans.

  1. i’d rather they just disband fema and all of dhs, this country handled disasters long before fema ever came into existence

  2. AND THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY, TRANSPORTATION, EDUCATION, AND A HUNDRED OTHER TAXPAYER NIGHTMARES….

  3. I agree imagicman. People should have homeowners insurance and should have some sort of disaster preparedness. We are so helpless that we stand around waiting for the gov’t to come and rescue us when something hits. Plus there is the Red Cross etc and plus other people who aren’t affected always help. We have to stop looking to the gov’t to take care of us.

  4. What goodnhas FEMA ever done anybody anyway? My only regret is that this sequester doesn’t go further. We could do with about a 95% reduction in the size of Federal government.

  5. MY FRIEND… THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS THE BIGGEST ENEMY OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE— AND THE STUPID SHEEPLE ARE REALLY RESPONSIBLE ,… SORRY TO ADMIT THIS… BUT VERY TRUE NEVERTHELESS..

  6. the scariest sentence in any language is “i’m from the government and i’m here to help.” a 99% cut in the government is about right seeing as how there are only 18 enumerated duties of the federal government in the constitution. the rest are left to the states and to the people. this was/is my problem with the fair tax group. they’re looking to fund the government at it’s present level when they should be looking to cut it along with a fair tax. that would lower the effective tax rate and make it easier to promote. the founders knew very well if you let the government do everything for the people many would then do nothing for themselves. instead of sheep i think too many americans want to be grasshoppers.

  7. SINCE THE ADVENT OF THE OWEBOZO ADMINISTRATION THERE IS NO PART OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT THAT IS EVER GOING TO HELP ANYONE… THEY ARE HERE TO DESTROY THE AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE AND HAVE BEEN PERMITTED TO DO SO BY MILLIONS OF IDIOTS WHO VOTED FOR THIS… NOW UNLESS IMPEACHMENT IS IMPLEMENTED THESE LIBERAL THUGS WILL CONTINUE THE DESTRUCTION AND AMERICANS WILL SAY ‘duh” LIKE THEY ALWAYS DO… WTF? I NEVER VOTED FOR A DEMOCRAT IN MY LIFE… NOR WOULD I… YOU FLIPPING IDIOTS… YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW….

  8. Tenement housing people were screaming out the windows to police officers in the days following Sandy, “youz gots to get me my feezmas”!

  9. I have these very involved in the Catholic church relatives. I grew up in a strict Irish Catholic household. I was taught to embrace life, be honest, always try to do the right thing and be a patriotic American.
    I did just that.
When you are young, you are usually a liberal for a little while, little while.
Until, all your values which you were raised with keep colliding with the world
you are living in independently from your parents.
I married at a young age, had children right away, and my CONSERVATIVE MONSTER came to the surface. lol
At family gatherings the decibels around the dinner table were through the roof.
Strong opinions were had by everyone.
You would think that with such a conservative family, there wouldn’t be so much
    controversy regarding point of views.
You would think that we’d all pretty much share similar views. We didn’t.
Here is where I watch the hypocrisy.
Here was my aunt and uncle, always involved in the Catholic church, had to be seen as the volunteer do gooders, admitting they voted for Clinton. I was in shock.
I called them out on it. My mother was ready to have a stroke, but I told them they were huge hypocrites.
How on earth could you vote for a man who passed the partial birth abortion bill and was a big pro-choice liberal?
Next it was my own father. I found out he too voted for Clinton both times. What?
Dad, mom spent my entire childhood going up to Albany to march for life, all of us kids were fed a steady diet of pro-life messages. How could you?
Now, I find out from one of my uncles that the same aunt, who I called out then, did it again and voted for Obuma the first time around. Suddenly, she’s seen the light and
did not vote for him again apparently, but it’s too late. The damage was done.
I lost all respect for these people, even my know it all father.
He was such a preacher, meanwhile he voted for death of innocent human life, as a father of 13 children and a highly highly educated man.
He can’t be excused and neither can my adult educated aunts and uncles for their vote.
A teenager, I understand, they have no worldly experience, no life experience to
pull from, they can make poor choices and later, after college and some life experiences, may wake up to reality, and I hope that this heathenistic generation with all the brainwashing going on, won’t ruin them completely.
But those family and friends who voted for Cuomo, Obuma, Hitlery, and crew,
and continue to, they have no excuse as adults. It’s eyes wide open.
    Shame on them!
