MUST SEE – John Birch Society: Exposing the Russian Connection to Al Qaeda and Terrorism

Special thanks to Thomas for sending me this excellent video.

The Communists are using Muslim terrorism as a proxy to pressure the US into accepting World Government. Just like many Conservatives have been saying.

“The Russian KGB would create and run terror groups;  then operate them from behind to appear like they are really cooperating with battling global terrorism”.

- Art Thompson

  2. I did not know these people were still around. I thought that the John Birch Society closed up back in the late 1980′s.

    • Thanks to Thomas for sending me this video. I might have seen this video a while ago, but I can’t remember. Everything is a BLUR LOL. I might have posted this video on the old Monster site…

  3. FBI FILES ON BIRCH SOCIETY AND ITS ASSERTIONS:
This 204-page report explains why J. Edgar Hoover and senior FBI officials within the Bureau’s Domestic Intelligence Division concluded in FBI memos that the JBS was “extremist”, “irrational” and “irresponsible”

CONSERVATIVE CRITICS OF ROBERT WELCH and BIRCH SOCIETY:
Contrary to claims made by the Birch Society about the alleged “left-wing” origins of JBS criticism, the most potent adverse comments about the JBS have always originated from the right-side of the political spectrum. This report presents a representative sample of such comments.

Critics have included such prominent conservative Americans as:

Sen. Barry Goldwater, Cong. Walter Judd, Gen. Albert C. Wedemeyer, Russell Kirk, Eugene Lyons, Willmoore Kendall, James Burnham, Robert Bork, J. Edgar Hoover, Herbert Philbrick, Frank S. Meyer, Cong. Gordon H. Scherer, William F. Buckley Jr., Patrick Buchanan, Fred Schwarz, Lee Edwards, the editors of the conservative newspaper, Human Events, George Sokolsky, Roy Cohn, Anthony Bouscaren, plus even many former Birchers such as: Alan Stang, Gary Allen, Milorad Draskovich, John Rees, William Norman Grigg, Mrs. Robert Welch — and many many more.

    • In one of his earliest public essays, “A Young Republican’s View,” Buckley proffered a very unconservative (even anti-conservative) argument. Since America and the West were faced with a dire existential threat from the Soviet Union and communism, said Buckley, “We have to accept Big Government for the duration — for neither an offensive nor a defensive war can be waged … except through the instrument of a totalitarian bureaucracy within our shores.”

In order to fight communist totalitarianism, according to Buckley, one must accept Big Government and adopt totalitarian ways. Which is precisely what Arthur Schlesinger and other members of FDR’s brain trust and the enlightened dons of Harvard and the New York Times had been arguing, albeit in a “liberal” idiom to liberal-Left audiences. This, of course, was anathema to the “Old Right” Conservatives as represented by Senators Robert Taft, Pat McCarran, and Joseph McCarthy, as well as intellectual pillars such as John T. Flynn, Garet Garret, Frank Chodorov, and Robert Welch.

In an email to The New American, JBS CEO Art Thompson recounts the decades long effort by National Review and Buckley to damage The John Birch Society and anyone who dares challenge the Establishment. Thompson writes, “The recent article attacking Ron Paul posted online by the National Review Online is the latest chapter in an ongoing saga that NR has waged against anyone who is not a neo-conservative.”

Thompson recalls how in the October 19, 1965 issue of National Review, Buckley published a “vicious attack against everything The John Birch Society stood for” prompting Thompson to cancel his subscription to the ersatz chronicle of conservatism.

The John Birch Society’s President John F. McManus (who is also publisher of The New American, a JBS affiliate) agrees with Thompson and says that “the JBS never had a worse enemy than Buckley.” McManus says that Buckley’s sniping and labeling of Robert Welch as a kook kept many good conservatives from taking a serious look at The John Birch Society.

      The more things change…

In their article Fly and Moore continue waging National Review’s war against all anti-Establishment voices, describing them as “far outside the mainstream” of the Republican Party.

The accusation of extremism, however, fails to take into account the millions of Americans who voted for Ron Paul in the primaries and caucuses, not to mention the thousands nationwide who belong to The John Birch Society and voluntarily contribute time and money to the furtherance of its educational mission.

Since its inception the goal of The John Birch Society has been to improve the world by reinforcing constitutional limits on government and encouraging everyone to take personal responsibility for their actions.

another document issued by a California government body was not any collection of “personal observations.” It was, rather, a very official 62-page report published by an officially-constituted body of the California State Senate led by Democrat Hugh Burns.

State Senator Burns noted at the start of his comprehensive study that his two-year-long investigation had “been requested by the Society.” Senate committee staff members and hired investigators availed themselves of access to JBS officials, publications, and records. No stone was left unturned. And here is how this exhaustive “official” 1963 report closed: “Our investigation and study was requested by the Society, which had been publicly charged with being a secret, fascist, subversive un-American, anti-Semitic organization. We have not found any of these accusations to be supported by the evidence.”

If one is going to rely on the mere “personal observations” in one report and completely ignore the “official” conclusions in another, one has engaged in a disreputable and dishonest practice.

So favorable to the Society’s views, though not completely so, was the 1963 report that the Society sought and received permission from the California authorities to reprint it in its entirety. Copies by the thousands were distributed throughout the nation. Officially, The John Birch Society was given fair treatment and exonerated of the many nasty accusation aimed its way. Unofficially, the Society was roundly criticized, even ridiculed. Maddow’s choice of which report to rely upon says a great deal about her.

  4. The company one keeps, and this includes groups like the John Birch Society, tells you a lot them. See the following video from the 50th anniversary of the John Birch Society.

    http://vimeo.com/19602654

Ron Paul, the Texas congressman and 2008 Republican presidential candidate, was the featured speaker at the groups celebration. The JBS knows Paul and loves him and he loves the JBP.. The video shows just how much love they have for each other. Maybe Paul is not a “nutty, anti war, left wing” “loony” after all(?) as stated on this website or is the JBS suspect for being all these things?

    • I didn’t have time to check the link that he posted. I know that many conservatives are duped by Ron Paul

I am tired of being the only idiot in the media speaking out about the Russian threat. YES, I consider myself part of the media since The Conservative Monster is highly ranked in the US. I am close to walking away. The sheep will figure it out.
