  1. WELL I HAVE A GOOD MEMORY OF THE OJ SIMPSON TRIAL OF DOUBLE BLACK ON WHITE MURDER AND NOBODY EVER BROUGHT UP THE CIVIL RIGHTS OF HIS DEAD WIFE OR RON … I WATCHED ALAN DERSHOWITZ THIS MORNING AND HE SAID UNLESS THE CRIME WAS COMMITTED BY THE STATE THERE CAN BE NO CVIL RIGHTS CHARGES.. WHERE WERE ALL THE WHITE DIRTBAGS AFTER THE OJ TRIAL???? EVEN IF THERE WERE RIOTS, THE NEWS MEDIA WOULD HAVE LOOKED THE OTHER WAY.. AS THEY DID LAST NIGHT WHEN WHO KNOWS HOW MANY MURDERS WERE COMMITTED…

  2. REMINDS ME OF 1968 AND RODNEY KING… ONE WAY STREET.. NOW THEY WERE QUALIFIED TO BE CIVIL RIGHTS LITIGATION… BUT THIS ?? NOPE… NEVER HAPPEN… FILING CHARGES WOULD HAVE TO BE IN FLORIDA COURTS WHERE THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN… TIME FOR ALL THE TWERPS TO PUT THEIR TAILS BETWEEN THEIR LEGS AND GO BACK TO THE HOUSE AND WATCH MORE CRAPSTREAM MEDIA…

  3. I don’t know if it counts as a civil suit (I think it does) but the Goldman’s filed and won a wrongful death suit against OJ Simpson in civil court. It is, no doubt, one of the reasons that Simpson was so strapped for cash that he tried to steal the memorabilia that he’d long ago given away: for its monetary value. He couldn’t even profit from that horrible book he’d written, If I Did It, which was nothing more than a confession of the murders he’d committed, disguised as fiction, because he owes the Goldman’s so much $$$ that they took the profits from that book, too. If he lives long enough to leave prison a free man, any and every dollar he earns for the rest of his life will go to the Goldmans.

They couldn’t fry his ass in the chair, thanks to the “dream team” of defense lawyers (including the now-deceased father of Kim and the rest of the Kardashians – yep, that’s their claim to fame: their father helped OJ Simpson walk away a free man after murdering his ex-wife and one of her acquaintances). So, they went for the next best thing and that was making sure he’ll never live the good life again. Everything that was his is now theirs and anything that might one day become his will become theirs, instead. Ironically, he responded to this new reality by trying to steal from an old friend, was caught red-handed, and landed himself in prison, after all.

    • Stand your ground protects Zimmerman from lawsuits, but he needs to have another hearing about that. It was waived during the trial, because his lawyers felt that this judge would deny them.

  4. Those who truly believe that Zimmerman is guilty of murder would do good to look at OJ Simpson’s story, post-acquittal. We humans have a way of bringing upon ourselves exactly what we deserve. If Zimmerman is actually guilty of murdering Martin yet managed to walk away from it, he’ll earn himself the punishment he deserves further down the road. Vigilante-ism (is that a word?) isn’t necessary and, in fact, will only make matters worse for everyone except its target.
