The 15th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution states:
The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.
What is the definition of ‘abridged’ according to Merriam Webster?
Abridge - to lessen the strength or effect of (something, such as a right)
The hateful rhetoric coming from Republicans, Liberals and pundits is not only directed at Donald Trump, but it’s also being directed at American citizens who voted for or intend to vote for Donald Trump. Is this rhetoric really tactics of ‘intimidation’ to abridge the voting rights of Americans who wish to vote for Trump?
I believe it’s safe to say that many Trump voters do feel ‘intimidated’ to the point where some lie about supporting him to avoid being verbally abused or attacked. The thugs who call Donald Trump a ‘Nazi’ appear to be the REAL FASCISTS in this story.
