  1. DURING WW2 THE CHICOMS WERE SCARED SHITLESS OF JAPAN— I CAN’T SEE ANY REASON WHY THE JAPS SHOULDN’T INCREASE THEIR ARMAMENT WITH THOSE BUTTHEAD CHICOMS RIGHT ACROSS THE BAY

  2. the Japanese will not remain pacifistic if threatened, it’s not their nature.

    they’re okay with pacifism in their pacific world as long as the U.S. protects them, as We did in the 1950s- but if We become unreliable, the Japanese know how to fight
    -as do the Taiwanese, they too will fight hard (I suspect with secret nuclear weapons)

    Among the few consolations I think about in our world of trouble are the Allies we have that we don’t often consider- chiefly India. We don’t think much about India, but rest assured the Chinese do, and I wonder if India won’t become a secret ally of Israel against Iran. (Fact: India was the First! country to proclaim support for US on 9/11)

    There are a few more Countries that would rejoice to see America back on top- Japan is only one. I wonder if our friends see us as going through a ‘stage’, our ‘blue period’.
